Executive Director; SEACA
Sissy Nga Trinh is the Founder and Executive Director of the Southeast Asian Community Alliance (SEACA), whose mission is to build an empowered Southeast Asian community through leadership development, education, advocacy, and organizing. Prior to her position at SEACA, Sissy served as a Policy Advocate and Community Education Coordinator, focusing on local and federal policy issues of universal access to health care for children, welfare reform, workforce development, and immigrant and refugee rights. She has also worked as a workers’ rights advocate and organizer with Vietnamese janitors and Asian and African-American hospital workers. Sissy received her bachelor’s degree in English and World Literature from Pitzer College.
