Director of Strategic Initiatives & Investments; Genesis LA
Sara Harris is a Community Development Officer at Genesis LA, a CDFI that advances economic development and housing projects and initiatives across LA County. In her role, Sara designs and manages Genesis LA’s innovative programs and provides technical assistance to partners and prospective borrowers. Prior to joining Genesis LA, Sara worked as the Economic & Community Development Policy Deputy for LA County Supervisor Holly J. Mitchell and as a strategy consultant at the Bridgespan Group, a consulting firm for nonprofits and foundations. Sara earned a Bachelor of Arts from Dartmouth College. She is also a graduate of UCLA’s Levine Affordable Housing Development Program.
