Hollywood Pop!

We designed a public space that blends seamlessly with the sidewalk to inspire a conversation about what people like to see in the community's public realm.

This project blurs the line between public and private space and represents a type of fuzzy urbanism that invites a critical debate on future investments.

We designed a series of custom built cartoon-like structures that incorporates a range of amenities, such as trees, tables, seating, and wayfinding signage.

The project remained open through 2016 and was situated on private property as a pilot of partnerships between owners and communities to transform underutilize land into public space in their neighborhoods.
