We have had the opportunity to work with local neighborhood market owners to highlight these new healthy food options with fresh store redesigns.
Arlington Heights Market has been serving the neighborhood of Arlington Heights for decades.
Store-owner Herman Russell, after having grown up in the market, has run the locally oriented business for the past couple years after taking over the store from his father.
Recently, Herman worked with LAFPC to bring fresh produce and other healthy food options to go alongside the existing grocery items, home goods, cold drinks, and large collection of sports apparel at his store.
We worked with Herman to develop new interior and exterior signage, a fresh paint job, new shelving, and a new layout.
All of these small changes helps to highlight the fresh produce and healthy options that Herman has worked hard to make a part of his store.
