Los Angeles County, CA We designed accessible branding and outreach materials for the $10 million Commercial Acquisition Fund, helping nonprofit organizations navigate grant opportunities aimed at revitalizing communities affected by the COVID-19 pandemic.

The program is providing grants to qualifying organizations to support the acquisition of vacant or abandoned land and buildings in designated communities. The CAF is funded with $10 million in American Rescue Plan Act (ARPA) funds and will be awarded as recoverable grants, ranging from $500,000 to $2,000,000.

We partnered with our friends at Genesis LA and LA County's Department of Economic Opportunity to develop a branding strategy and outreach materials for their Commercial Acquisition Fund Program (CAF).

Our aim was to create logos, illustrations, and program explainers that were approachable and informational for nonprofit organizations looking to support economic revitalization in communities negatively impacted by the COVID-19 pandemic.
