Frida is an architectural designer from Tijuana, Mexico, specializing in housing and community-based design. Her practice is rooted in collaborative processes and context-driven design, where social and cultural context inform how she engages with materiality and site as guiding design principles. With a commitment to providing equitable design for all communities, her work spans cities in Mexico and the United States, bringing a cross-border perspective to housing and public architecture. Her interests extend into planning and policy, exploring how design operates across architectural and urban scales. She holds a Bachelor's degree in Architecture from Instituto Tecnológico y de Estudios Superiores de Monterrey (ITESM).
