We designed the graphic identity for the 3C Initiative’s educational materials.
The Connecting Capital & Community (3C) Initiative, a project funded by JP Morgan Chase and facilitated by the Center for Community Investment (CCI), strives to narrow the racial wealth gap by fostering Black and Brown household wealth-building through innovative ownership models.
Specifically, the 3C Initiative focused on expanding homeownership opportunities beyond traditional single-family homes in South LA. We worked with Genesis LA, the Los Angeles Program lead, to create compelling visual content for educational materials that inform Black and Brown residents in South LA of housing ownership options tailored to their specific needs and identities.
The graphic language set out to foster a visual representation of South LA cultures, emphasizing accessibility and familiarity. The mood of the visual content communicates the essence of neighborhood, home, future, family, and identity, echoing the key message that individuals can see themselves reflected in the diverse housing possibilities.
